Hannah Voskuil is an American writer living in Massachusetts. Her short fiction has appeared in various literary journals and in anthologies around the world. Voskuil earned a B.A. in English Literature and German from Middlebury College and an MFA in Creative Writing from Emerson College. HORUS AND THE CURSE OF EVERLASTING REGRET, her debut middle-grade novel, is set in the 1930s and brings two kids, a spunky pet bat, and a cursed child mummy together. The four set out to find a kidnapped girl who vanished while visiting an Ancient Egypt museum exhibit. In Voskuil’s newest middle-grade novel, THE ART OF MAGIC, ZuZu and Andrew discover they can create art that comes to life, and the two must use their abilities to protect their town from a vengeful ghost who has magical creations of his own.
